However, this sushi restaurant is a lot more upscale… Chef-owner Horiuchi has spared no expense when it comes to presenting the finest sushi and sashimi dishes—using only the finest ingredients, like Ohmi A5 Wagyu beef and fresh fish flown in directly from Tokyo’s Toyosu market. The extensive menu at Katami is offered only à la carte, but it’s best to experience one of their unique “omakases” (chef’s tasting). Katami is known as one of the best sushi spots in Houston mainly for their ability to elevate the best raw materials with world-class technique.
