For over a decade, Ronda has proudly volunteered over 100 hours with this inspiring organization, helping women across the Greater Houston Area prepare for life-changing career opportunities. What began as a simple way to give back to the community has become one of the most meaningful parts of her life.
“I love helping people,” Ronda shares, “but especially women, because I started in an industry that was once very much a man’s world. So, I know how hard it can feel when the odds seem stacked against you.”
Through her years with Dress for Success Houston, Ronda has seen firsthand how the right tools, confidence, and support can transform a woman’s future. Volunteers don’t just help clients prepare for interviews—they walk with them through every step of the process: improving first impressions, building professional LinkedIn profiles, updating résumés, practicing interview skills, learning basic financial literacy, and even selecting wardrobes once they’ve landed the job! The mission is simple yet powerful: help every woman feel seen, supported, and equipped to succeed.
Ronda believes true community success depends on inclusivity and opportunity. “I believe that every gender and class needs to be successful for all of us to be successful,” she explains. “We are only as strong as our weakest link.” And that belief reflects the very foundation of Texas Living Company, where empowerment, service, and compassion guide every decision from the top to the bottom. About Dress for Success Houston
Dress for Success Houston is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women in the Greater Houston Area to achieve economic independence. Since 1998, DFS Houston has provided no-cost services, such as professional attire, interview preparation, career coaching, and job retention support, to help women succeed in the workforce. With more than 20 programs tailored to individual needs, DFS Houston partners with over 150 referral agencies and relies on dedicated volunteers to provide a path to self-sufficiency.
