Shuck Cancer, Save Lives: Texas Living Company supports the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge!
Texas Living Company is proud to celebrate our broker and owner, Ronda Ross, as a 2024 Pearl Nominee for the American Cancer Society’s Shuck Cancer Houston fundraising event! This recognition honors community leaders who dedicate their time and resources to raising funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. Ronda’s efforts have helped raise thousands of dollars to benefit Hope Lodge® Houston, a remarkable program that provides free housing and compassionate support to cancer patients and their families who travel for treatment.
The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge communities serve as a true home away from home for individuals facing cancer. With more than 30 lodges across the country, these facilities offer free accommodations, private guest suites, communal kitchens, and gathering spaces that foster healing, comfort, and community. Hope Lodge isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where guests can find connection, emotional support, and the reassurance that they are not alone in their journey. By alleviating the financial burden of lodging, the program allows patients to focus fully on what matters most; getting better.
