Lights of Courage

At Texas Living Company, giving back to the Houston community is one of our greatest passions. This year, we were incredibly honored to sponsor a table at the Candlelighters' Lights of Courage gala, an annual fundraiser to help support children battling cancer and the families who walk that journey alongside them. This year's 2025 gala marked the organization’s largest event to date—raising an extraordinary $650,000! As longtime supporters of Candlelighters and their mission, we were humbled to be part of such a powerful night of hope, generosity, and community.

 

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was when several of our clients joined our sponsored table to show their support. Their presence and advocacy helped elevate this incredible mission even further, creating a powerful reminder that real estate does more than build a physical community... it builds an emotional one, through compassion, connection, and showing up for one another. This local fundraising gala is always moving because many families who have benefited from Candlelighters' support (along with families currently receiving aid) are honorees at the event. And meeting them in person is a heartfelt reminder of why this nonprofit’s work is so essential!

For Texas Living Company, supporting Candlelighters is not just about philanthropy, it’s about making a commitment to stand with families facing unimaginable challenges.
